My First Macy's Thankgiving Day Parade

Whoo!!! Hooo!!! What rainy fun!! Marc and I watched this wonderful event from 24 stories up at the W Times Square!! It really is exciting and if it wasn't for the torrential downpour, we would be down there among the masses. Being unprepared for the cold and wet environment, we have settled nicely with our plasma screen tv and 1/2 mile view of the parade!!

I'm missing my family and friends this Thanksgiving Day and hope that you and your family are having a wonderful holiday!!

Love,

Jenn

Airport Blog: The Trouble with Travel

Yes, it was one of those travel days: the kind that purgatories are made of. I usually travel Continental and, because I didn't book earlier, all the Continental flights were booked for last week. Alas, I had to book with my nemisis, American Airlines.

It started out like a typical, Newark travel day full of light rain, gusty winds with a chance of severe thunderstorm. My co-worker, Bri and I headed out, full of high hopes of getting out on time. She was an "Executive Platnium" member with American, so that offered a bit of comfort for the airport terminal Tempest we were about to face...

To be continued...

Random Thoughts - stardate 11.08.2006.21.30

I've been sitting here at my desk for... 14 hours and 27 minutes and thinking to myself... oh yeah, I forgot to post the other day of stuff that I saw on my way to work. It's been raining all day, I saw two dead deers on the side of the road. I felt sad. Then I almost got into a fender bender because of all the beautiful, bright, fiery red trees on my way to my client. We never get seasons in California and it's magical here. I got the photos from the camping trip. God, that was fun. Thank you Marc, you're my saving grace these days. Work is tough and trying to hang in there. Do you watch Dancing with the Stars? I hope Joey makes it. Ok, time to go bye bye.
