This has got to be one of the best places to dine in all of Las Vegas. Pronounced "Gee Sav-u-ah", Guy Savoy sits on the 2nd floor of Caesar's Palace, next to the wedding chapel.
It's ultra-modern and very French! Marc and I had dinner there and enjoyed their grilled fois gras appetizer, black and white truffle soup, filet and lobster dinner. There's a plethora of carts!! A champagne cart that greets you. A wine book that commands it's own tableside podium for viewing. An artisan bread cart which has the most delicious and savory breads! (Although, sad to say, the gentleman cutting our bread dropped the knife, picked it up off the floor and proceeded to continue cutting for us and for others...)
All in all, it was the near-perfect flavors and impeccable service and staff that made eating at this restaurant enjoyable. Our reason for going? Because Hung was a sous chef here prior to becoming Top Chef. Now we better understand his techniques and why he deserved it.
