Jenn Update - June 2004:Homecoming!

Hi everyone -

I keep getting a lot of voicemails and emails on "What's Happening??" So here it is! First and formost - I have keys to my new house in Glendale!! Yeee Haw!! My brother has keys to the guest house in the back!

I have so much to do in the next week - Get Loan docs signed and move out of storage/my parents into the new house. Unfortunately, I won't be able to get anything into the house yet because I am getting all the floors (underneath all the carpet, circa 1930 and still in great shape) sanded, stained and refinished into the best "Swedish" finish. I have to not think about the price and think of it more like an investment.

This Saturday, I am hosting a Yard Sale for my parents, who are also closing escrow and are busily packing all their things for their move to Las Vegas.

One good thing I am looking forward ot is my7-day Swing Dancing Caribbean Cruise! (Booked ast year). My friends and I will be going on Princess Cruise lines newest and biggest ship, the Caribbean Princess. It will be her 3rd voyage out. We will depart out of Ft. Lauderdale and sail to St. Thomas, St. Marten and the Princess Cays (privately owned by Princess) The week I get back, I have off to start moving stuff into the house.

One of my best friends, Mylene is getting married and I am one of her Bridesmaids, so that will keep me fairly busy. I hosted her Bridal Shower early this month and it was a blast. Her sisters hosted the Bachelorette party at Chippendales at the Rio Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas.

Attached is a photo where I "barely" kept my dress on. I don't remember much except that drunk person that kept kissing everyone... or was that me?? ;)

The activities in the last few weeks, this week and the next few weeks have kept my stress levels pretty high. Work has been minimal which is a good thing - for now. That's all I have to report, I will be emailing / snail-mailing out the new address when the house is officially mine on June 1st.
